Their are many ways you can help change a life.

 

Currently, Henderson County has over 130 children in foster care. Each year the number of children entering foster care rises. These children need homes to be sheltered, nurtured, and cared for on a temporary basis.



Services Provided by HCFPA

 

• Advocate for the needs of children

• Grant college scholarship to worthy teens aging out

• Fund children activities

• Support network for foster parents

• Provide ongoing educational opportunities for foster parents to enhance their knowledge on how to better serve children of abuse and neglect

• Promote awareness by participating in outreach projects and community events

• Accept donations of children's clothing, school and baby supplies, etc. to pass on to foster children through our established Foster Closet
